Vice President of Business Operations
Ryan Wallerstein serves as Vice President of Business Operations for the Financial Integrity Network, where he helps manage key areas of FIN’s operations and growth, including strategic planning, finance, marketing, business development, human resources, and project management.
Ryan served as a policy advisor with the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes (TFFC) in the mid-2000s. During this time, he helped launch and manage the Treasury Department’s International Private Sector Dialogue (PSD) initiative, designed to promote anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing best practices with targeted regions and financial institutions in the Middle East/North Africa, South America, and Eastern Europe. The PSD, which continues to operate today, fosters private and public sector engagement to further protect the integrity of the international financial system from the perils of illicit financial activity.
Ryan is also a seasoned marketing, communications, and strategic planning executive, having worked with top tier multimedia brands, including Hearst Magazines, Conde Nast, and The Daily Beast. In these roles, he developed and cultivated multimillion dollar marketing and advertising relationships with GE, BMW, Verizon, American Express, and other major brands. In addition, Ryan has worked as an international business consultant with multiple organizations, including the Corporate Executive Board’s mergers and acquisitions practice.
Ryan holds a master’s degree in International Security Policy from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and a bachelor’s degree in East Asian Studies from The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs.
